A Woman in the Modern World.

"We have become the men who we wanted to marry." - Gloria Steinem

In a world where women fight to be equal to a man by being man, be a woman- relentlessly and unapologetically, whatever that may mean to you. Remember to protect your womanhood, and your fellow woman's too.

"Your knowledge, your education is your husband no. 1. Your husband may leave you, but what you have in your mind will never leave you." - Miriam Makeba

The female in this picture is wearing a niqab to represent Pakistani girls who have been married off at a young age to fulfil their gender role as a wife and mother; depriving them the opportunity to further their education. In a typical Pakistani household, sitting beside her would be her physical husband. This has been replaced by a stack of books to represent education. This is to show education as her husband.
