Through the TuksRes Women in Leadership Academy I have learnt that empowering women and talking about controversial topics is integral in our modern society. As women we need to be able to stand up and talk about matters that could potentially make others feel uncomfortable. We are young and powerful women , who have the potential to make a change in not only our own but others’ futures for the better. TRWLA has taught me how to stand up and make a change.
